About Casa Tua
Casa Tua occupies a restored 1920s Mediterranean-Revival villa on James Avenue a block off Lincoln Road and operates as a six-suite boutique hotel, a members' club on the upper floor, and a dining room in the garden and ground floor. The format has been continuous since 2001 and the garden table count has never exceeded 70.
The menu is northern Italian executed conservatively: the signature seafood risotto, hand-rolled pastas (tagliolini with truffle, pappardelle with ragù), osso buco Milanese, a daily branzino baked in salt. Dinners land $145-220 per person. The wine list is 600 labels with a strong Tuscan and Piedmontese spine and a dedicated sommelier who handles the pairings tableside.
The garden dining room is the signal feature — high stone walls, a single centrepiece fountain, mature bougainvillea, and a candle-and-lantern lighting plan that reads as private-villa rather than restaurant. The acoustic environment is quieter than anything else on South Beach, and the service protocol is specifically calibrated to accommodate the proposal requests that arrive through the reservation line.
Best Occasion Fit
Casa Tua is the Miami proposal dining room. The garden setting, the villa-scale privacy, and the service team's fluency with the set-piece moment combine into a room that has hosted more of the city's engagements than any other. The reservation should be made explicit about the occasion.
