Partnerships and Advertising
Reach the diners who book the hardest tables in the world
Restaurants for Kings is the occasion guide to the planet's best restaurants. Our readers arrive at the moment of decision, and they can afford the meal. Here is how to put your brand in front of them.
The audience
Small by design. Premium by intent.
RFK readers aren't browsing. They're planning the meal that closes the deal, marks the anniversary, or carries the first date. That intent, not raw volume, is what your placement buys.
Our readers treat dining as an investment, not an afterthought. They book ahead, spend without hesitation, and return to venues they trust. Detailed traffic and audience data, by page and by city, are shared with prospective partners on request. We report real numbers, never projected ones.
Sponsorship options
Choose your placement
Prices are monthly unless noted. Annual commitments receive two months free. Category exclusivity, meaning one sponsor per ranking, cuisine, or city, is available where marked.
City or Cuisine Hub Feature
A "Presented by" editorial feature on a city or cuisine guide, written to our standard and clearly labeled. Priced to the page's traffic, so high traffic hubs may carry a premium.
Top Pillar Feature
Placement on a flagship guide such as the sushi pillar or "Best for Closing Deals," the pages with the most search visibility.
Chef or Venue Spotlight
A Q&A or profile of your chef, room, or program. We interview and write; you approve the facts.
City Page Sponsor
Own the banner and adjacency on a city guide, with exclusivity within your category. Priced by the page's real traffic; top cities carry a higher rate, smaller cities bundle.
Ranking Category Sponsor
"Best for [Occasion], presented by you." Our highest intent inventory, sold to a single advertiser per ranking.
Cuisine Hub Sponsor
Own a cuisine vertical such as sushi, steakhouse, or omakase. A brand level association, not a single venue.
Featured City Grid Listing
A featured card in the city grid with a Sponsored badge. Carries no editorial score and never enters occasion rankings.
Enhanced Profile
Claim your detail page: photo gallery, full menu, direct booking button, and "Featured in" links. Your verdict and score stay independent.
Display, run of site
Direct sold banners across the network, frequency capped to a premium dining audience. Offered as volume grows; flat sponsorships are the better value today.
How we protect both of us
Editorial integrity
rel="sponsored" on outbound links, and receive no editorial score. Paid content never appears in our occasion or cuisine rankings, which stay independent. We don't sell undisclosed links or fabricated reviews. The trust that makes this audience valuable is the one thing we won't compromise.
Payment terms
Simple and upfront
Placements are invoiced in advance. Monthly products are billed monthly; features and annual commitments are billed at signature. We accept:
Currency is USD. Annual commitments include two months free. Cancellation of monthly placements takes effect at the end of the current paid month, with no partial month refunds. An invoice and receipt are issued for every payment.
FAQ
Questions sponsors ask
How are sponsored placements labeled?
Every paid placement is visibly marked as "Presented by," "Sponsored," or a Partner badge depending on the format, and outbound links carry rel="sponsored". This is not negotiable: it protects your brand and our credibility, and keeps everyone compliant with advertising and search engine guidelines.
Can I pay to improve my restaurant's score or ranking?
No. Editorial scores and occasion rankings are independent and cannot be bought. Sponsored listings and enhanced profiles increase your visibility and presentation, but they carry no score and never enter the rankings. That separation is exactly why a placement here is worth more than a paid directory listing.
How is pricing set, and is the rate card final?
Display and context sponsorship prices are tied to each page's real traffic, so a quiet city hub isn't priced like a flagship pillar. The figures here are starting rates. We confirm the exact price for your chosen placement against current pageviews, and we publish traffic milestones that trigger rate changes so there are no surprises.
Who writes sponsored features?
We do. Our editors write all "Presented by" features and spotlights to the same standard as our editorial, then share them with you for factual approval. This keeps the voice consistent and the content genuinely useful to readers, which is also what makes it perform.
How do I pay, and when am I billed?
We accept credit card and PayPal, in USD. Monthly placements are billed at the start of each month; features and annual commitments are billed in full at signature. You receive an invoice and a receipt for every payment.
Is category exclusivity available?
Yes. Ranking and cuisine hub sponsorships are sold to a single advertiser by default. City placements can be made exclusive within a category, for example one luxury watch brand per city, for a premium. Tell us your category in the form and we'll confirm availability.
What's the minimum commitment?
Display and listing products run month to month with a one month minimum. Featured content is placed for a 12 month term. There's no long term lock on the monthly products, so you can cancel anytime, effective at the end of the paid month.
Can we do a custom or multi product package?
Absolutely, and most larger sponsors do. Tell us your goal, whether that's a city, a cuisine, an occasion, or a national brand campaign, and we'll build a package and quote around it. Annual packages include two months free.
